Sound and video distribution by Dimensional Communications

Big guns: Make no doubt about it, the Seahawks Stadium distributed EAW main bowl speaker system is a serious affair. To bring clear and intelligible speech and bottom-shaking music to 60,000 excited fans requires some serious firepower. And the EAW speakers deliver, using massive MQV series speakers for the main bowl, supplemented with smaller fill speakers for the end zones and refrigerator-sized, long-throw MH series speakers covering difficult to reach areas. Over 1000 total speakers in the facility also support game day announcements, concession stands, writing press, entrance areas and meeting rooms.

Raw horsepower to spare: Over 200,000 watts of audio power, delivered by 115 QSC CX series amplifiers, provide clean, clear and reliable sound power to all major areas of the Seahawks Stadium. Each of the five amplifier rooms within the facility contain QSC CM-16 "QSControl" amplifier control and monitoring units. From the comfort of the main control room location, utilizing a custom DCI programmed computer graphical user interface, the sound system operator is able to monitor the status and also control each and every one of the 115 audio amplifiers.
