New Building for DCI

Once Crescent View was complete I refocused my full attention on Dimensional. My son Ryan had just graduated from WSU and was interested in participating in the growth of our Company. We had been operating from two adjacent buildings for 18 years. It was clear to me at that point, if our goal was to grow the Company, we would need more space.

Dimensional's new 20,000 sq. ft. location in Mount Vernon, Washington.

I took about a year to design and develope the working drawings for our new building. By designing from the ground up I had the luxury of creating a floor plan that was tailored specifically to our Company’s needs. With my General Contractors license still in place we began construction in the Fall of 2000. We moved in one year later in October. Our old location was 8,500 square feet. Our new building is 20,000 giving us the space for features we couldn’t have previously. I thought we would rattle around in our new building for years before we fully utilized the space. Not so. Two years after our move our business had doubled.

Dimensional's spacious new offices include a curved stairway to the second floor.

Stealth Acoustics

Building Totally Invisible Audio Solutions

I have a patent pending on a new concept of in-wall speaker that becomes totally invisible when installed. We are marketing this product as a division of Dimensional Communications under the name of Stealth Acoustics. I currently enjoy working on the product development and marketing of this unique product line.

We first went to market with Stealth Acoustics in September of 2003 at the CEDIA Expo in Indianapolis. The response was very positive. Since then we have worked to improve the performance of the product and expand the line. We currently have 4 primary products and some supporting accessories. I enjoy working on new products and our ever expanding Dealer base. We typically show at three major trade shows per year.

Stealth's invisible speakers are easily installed between the wall studs.
